The entire world is urbanizing now, at least the developed parts of it are. That’s one of the reasons light rail, gun control, medical care, education are becoming more important than in the past. The remaining more rural areas will encounter growing problems, mostly coming from Capital-ism displacing free enterprise. As we urbanize, we will need MORE government than we needed in the rural past.
